Muhammed – Founder of Islam (Arabia d. 632 AD).

Mohammed, also known as Muhammad, was the founder of Islam, one of the world's major religions. Born in Mecca in the year 570 CE, he was a deeply spiritual man who received revelations from Allah (God) through the angel Gabriel. These revelations were later recorded in the holy book of Islam, the Quran.

Muhammad's message of monotheism, social justice, and equality challenged the dominant power structures and traditions of Mecca, causing him and his followers to face persecution. In 622 CE, he emigrated to Medina, a city that welcomed him and his followers, marking the beginning of the Islamic calendar and the start of his political and religious leadership.

As Islam spread throughout Arabia, Mohammed continued to receive revelations, which shaped the teachings and beliefs of the religion. He emphasized the importance of charity, compassion, and the equality of all people before Allah. He also established a strong community of believers, the ummah, and emphasized the importance of social justice, women's rights, and the abolition of slavery.

Mohammed's life and teachings have had a profound impact on the world. Islam is now the second largest religion in the world, with over 1.8 billion followers, and its influence can be seen in the fields of politics, culture, science, and art.
