Once only, a devotee so pure
With bhakti and devotion, he did ensnare
Hanuman, the vanara king
In his love for Ram, his heart did sing.
And when he finally saw Ram's face
His heart was filled with love and grace
He fell at Ram's feet, with tears of joy
His devotion, a never-ending employ.
He served with loyalty, beyond measure
And in his heart, Ram's name was a treasure
No task was too great, no burden too tough
For Hanuman, serving Ram was enough.
With unwavering faith, he crossed the sea
To Lanka, to find Sita, for Ram and he
And when the battle raged, he fought with might
His devotion, a shining light.
So let us learn from Hanuman's tale
Of bhakti and devotion, that will never pale
For in our hearts, we too can find
The love for Ram, that Hanuman did bind.
